Roy carved this clock for dear friends of ours who were recently married. Knowing that the groom loves Gothic architecture, Roy chose to create his own version of a rose window. He carved the clock's face from basswood. Roman numerals complete the design.
The wood for the maple surround came from a tree that had once grown at the groom's parents' home. It was blown down when Hurricane Isabel hit town in 2003.

The clock is twelve inches in diameter and two inches thick.
