Custom Clocks

​​This custom schoolhouse clock is another that's identical to our regular Handcrafted Schoolhouse Clock with the exception of the printing on the dial. This clock was made for a couple in our home state of Vermont who were looking for a graduation gift for their godson.

They asked that we print the Latin quotation "Forsan et haec olim meminisse iuvabit" on the dial of the clock. The words are from Virgil's The Aeneid. You can see a closeup of the inscription (as well as a fisheye view of Roy and our office in the background) below.

Our customers were pleased to tell us that their godson was delighted by his gift and sent us a photo of it in its new home.
