Custom Boxes

​​This walnut jewelry box was a commissioned piece for a birthday present. The box has five levels and is made of solid walnut, plywood, walnut veneer, and walnut burl veneer. The bottoms of the drawers and the top compartment are all flocked.

Our customer had sent us a rough sketch. He was interested in making a jewelry box that was asymmetrical and different. We think we achieved what he had in mind. It was a technically difficult project that was very interesting and fun to do.
